A bucket is a hierarchical folder for organizing agents and apps. You create one, give it a name, and nest buckets inside buckets, so the shape of your workspace can mirror the shape of your organisation — a bucket per client for an agency, a bucket per department for an enterprise, or a draft / staging / live split for a team that promotes bots through stages. Lifecycle policies live alongside the hierarchy, so the way you organise and the way you govern stay in the same place.
This matters most exactly where Botlit's other strengths compound. The build-once-deliver-many agency keeps each client's bots in their own bucket; the enterprise running governed agents at scale groups them by owning team so RBAC and buckets reinforce each other; the platform lead auditing cost reads execution economics against a structure that already matches how the business thinks about its agents.
Because buckets are workspace-scoped like every other Botlit entity, the organisation you impose is private to your workspace and enforced by the same role-based access control as the agents inside them.
