Home Service Quote Intake Agent
Room-by-room questions and photos on chat, a draft quote tied to the price book, and anything unusual sent to an estimator.

Overview
In home and consumer services, a quote depends on details customers rarely volunteer: the floor and whether there is an elevator for a move, bathrooms and pets for a cleaning, the target pest and a photo for pest control, the model plate and the symptom for an appliance repair. Office staff can spend the morning chasing those details before anyone can price the job. This Botlit concept shows a customer-facing quote intake agent for home services marketplaces and providers, on web chat and WhatsApp, designed to ask the questions the company's configured price book needs for each service line and to draft a quote from it.
The illustration shows a Quote Intake Agent badged active, on web chat and handling a local move. A customer describes moving from a two-bedroom apartment on a third floor with no elevator to a house, lists a sleeper sofa and an upright piano, and attaches three photos of the sofa, the piano and the stairwell. The agent confirms the scope, explains that the piano needs an estimator's approval and says the estimate will follow within the hour, citing the moving price book's stairs section and a bulky items list. Below, a Today's quote requests table lists each request with its time, customer, service, the scope captured and a status, from Needs estimator and Quote sent to Diagnostic booked and Waiting for photos, across a move, cleans, an appliance repair and pest control.
On the right, a draft quote marked Not-to-exceed lists its lines: movers and a truck with a minimum, a stair fee, the sofa as a bulky item, the piano flagged Needs estimator, a not-to-exceed cap to be set after approval, and a deposit at booking. A crew and truck card with a check mark shows MoveTheWheels has free crews and an available truck on the requested date. A Send to estimator button sits above a Send approved quote to Kadaikodi button, which appears inactive while the quote awaits approval.
The design envisions every quote line citing the price book, and items outside it, such as a piano or a long carry, going to an estimator, who also sets whether a move is a binding or a not-to-exceed estimate. For moves, the agent is designed to check crew and truck availability in MoveTheWheels, and once approved, the quote is designed to pass to Kadaikodi, where the customer books a slot and pays the deposit or diagnostic fee. The concept is meant for estimators, dispatch and office teams, and operators of home services marketplaces.

Move Quote Conversation With a Draft Quote
This desktop illustration shows a Quote Intake Agent in Botlit, badged active, on web chat and tagged for a local move. A sample customer describes moving from a third-floor apartment with no elevator, lists a sleeper sofa and an upright piano, and attaches three photos. The agent restates the scope, says the piano needs an estimator's approval and promises an estimate within the hour, citing the moving price book's stairs section and a bulky items list. Below, Today's quote requests lists five requests with time, customer, service, scope captured and status, including Needs estimator, Quote sent, Diagnostic booked and Waiting for photos. On the right, a draft quote marked Not-to-exceed lists movers and truck, a stair fee, a bulky item fee, the piano flagged Needs estimator, a cap set after approval and a deposit at booking. A crew and truck card confirms MoveTheWheels availability for the date, above a Send to estimator button and an inactive Send approved quote to Kadaikodi button.
